Wendy, Becky, and crew: I've changed the post layout to have the date in a more CLEAR color, etc. And I also arranged it so that the name of the author (as well as the T.O.D. of their entry) is automatically placed ABOVE the post itself. You were right, much better this way. My current questions are as follows:
QUESTION 1.) The way the date heading works right now, it only appears above the most recent entry of the day. Yesterday's posts will in turn have a date heading only on the LAST entry of the day, to mark the change from today to yesterday. Does that make sense? It IS possible to have the date automatically listed next to the TIME of day and author above each posting. The only catch is that the date will then be the same green font color as the post itself (like the author's name is right now). I felt like people would prefer something that stood out with a different color, but I'll leave it up to you. If none of this makes sense, let me know and I can change it to the alternate format so you can see what I mean!
QUESTION 2.) Do you like the fact that the latest entry appears first? I think it's possible to rearrange it so that the first entry of the day shows first, and you follow the trail down to find later entries. On the one hand that might be nice because if you're coming in at the end of a day filled with postings, you don't have to first figure out the proper starting point! But on the other hand, if you've been checking throughout the day it might be annoying to have to scroll down before finding out if there's anything new to read!
